A municipality in Alberta planned to construct a noise barrier around the cooling equipment of a local arena. OCTAV was engaged to create a 3-D acoustical model of the noise sources and the proposed barrier to evaluate the potential noise reduction for nearby properties and provide recommendations to improve the barrier design.
