OCTAV combined detailed acoustic analysis with practical retrofit work to create a neutral, critical listening environment, adding tuned absorption, diffusion, and bass traps, and addressing ceiling, wall, and window weaknesses. On the systems side, we specified and implemented a Meyer Sound 7.1 system driven by a Galaxy processor, and we integrated SpaceMap Go so spatial objects created in the studio translate to the arena bowl. A custom user interface offers mode-based presets that reconfigure routing, monitoring, and displays for immersive, 7.1, or video workflows, simplifying complex operations for editors. We provided full interoperability across AVB, Dante, AES, and analog, enabled incoming multitrack capture from the main bowl via DLive and Waves SoundGrid, and added a video preset that optimizes displays and routing for editorial sessions. The result is a versatile, studio-grade facility that preserves artistic intent when content moves from editorial to arena playback.
