The office areas at the Pelham Town Hall were experiencing acoustical issues. Staff felt their voices were being amplified to unwanted levels do to acoustical phenomena. OCTAV was engaged to assess and address the acoustical challenges. Our team conducted detailed acoustical measurements and determined that the combination of angled/vaulted ceilings and hard flooring were creating a reflection pathway that focused sound on specific areas. A detailed acoustical treatment plan was developed to control sound reflections and improve acoustical comfort within the office area.
