At Scotiabank Arena, a new dedicated audio mix suite was created to complement the in-house video production team responsible for arena content. OCTAV was engaged to design a fully immersive audio environment and provide the complete acoustic design and optimization for the space, ensuring professional-grade production capability for broadcast and in-venue playback.
OCTAV combined detailed acoustic analysis with practical retrofit work to create a neutral, critical listening environment, adding tuned absorption, diffusion, and bass traps, and addressing ceiling, wall, and window weaknesses.
