The drill hall at the Ontario Police College experienced speech intelligibility problems due to excessive acoustical reverberation in the large, open space. OCTAV was engaged to assess and address the acoustical challenges. Our team completed detailed acoustical measurements to characterize the reverberation problem, then developed a tailored treatment strategy to improve speech clarity and comfort. We also provided installation-ready layout drawings to support the implementation of the acoustical solutions.
