The “Commons” at the newly constructed Faith Family Church is an area for congregants to gather and socialize before and after services. OCTAV was engaged during the design phase of this project to model the acoustics in this large, pre-function space. The goal was to create an acoustically comfortable space while maintaining some feeling of liveliness. OCTAV completed 3-D acoustical computer modeling of the space, developed an acoustical treatment plan, and provided acoustical layout drawings to the design team.
