The sanctuary at the Chapel Hill Bible Church experienced acoustical issues during worship events including poor speech intelligibility, and distracting acoustical defects (a sensation that sound was coming from random places in the sanctuary). OCTAV was engaged to assess and address the acoustical challenges. Our team conducted detailed acoustical measurements to characterize the acoustical issues, then developed a tailored acoustical treatment strategy to improve sound clarity and comfort. We also provided installation-ready acoustical layout drawings to support the implementation of the acoustical solutions.
