OCTAV partnered with a Toronto spin studio to create a high-impact audio, lighting, and control environment designed specifically for intense cycling workouts. After advising on site acoustics and guiding the client to an optimal location, we delivered a full facility AV and control system, acoustical remediation, and immersive lighting solution. The main studio now features premium sound with deep, even bass, acoustic treatments that keep the instructor’s voice clear, dynamic LED lighting for both the instructor and house, and a custom tactile interface for instant control of music, lighting, bass boosts, and microphone settings. These solutions extend throughout the facility, covering background music and additional workout areas.
The project faced a compressed schedule and a late-stage general contractor change, requiring careful coordination with multiple trades. Despite these challenges, OCTAV adapted schedules and put in extended hours to ensure the system was fully operational without compromising quality. The result is a polished, immersive fitness environment that elevates every workout, leaving the client thrilled with the experience.
